Community Commercial Security Scores Above the Rest in Access Card System Installation and Customer Service
Yorba Linda, CA — April 16, 2014 — Community Commercial Security, the industry expert in security system installation and maintenance in Orange County, CA, recently followed up with Crittenton Services for Children and Families, a non-profit organization that offers a safe haven for families in crisis, trains and equips foster families, and acts a branch of support for those in need. The operations director at Crittenton contacted community Commercial Security a little over a year ago about installing an access card system.
“Because we’re a non profit home that houses kids anywhere from 5-18, it was important for us to not lose things, constantly need to replace keys, or worry about whether or not we were in accordance with HIPPA laws,“ explains Gina Brunick, Director of Support Services. ”We needed a security system that would help us be more secure and vigilant in how we secure private and personal information. It was this need that sparked interest in a card access system.”
The challenge facing this project was that Crittenton has several facilities. From a security standpoint, all of these needed to run in harmony with one another. Community Commercial Security opted to install a wireless access system, which would not affect the structure of the buildings and require minimal repairs, ultimately saving Crittenton thousands of dollars. Community Commercial Security recommended a card system that could be controlled remotely: Instead of keys, employees would have individual cards to access certain places on certain days and times. With this card system, privileges could be changed or deleted as needed—and all from any device with an Internet connection.
During the follow-up interview with the operations director, many positive outcomes were described, including the following:
· Theft is down. There have been fewer reports of personal belongings going missing (particularly those belonging to employees).
· If necessary, the entire facility/ies can be immediately put on lock down.
· Probation officers feel more secure knowing that only those with a card can access confidential records.
Overall, Crittenton Services is very happy with their decision to hire Community Commercial Security for their security system installation needs.
“Richard Smith and his team are the best I’ve ever worked with. They’re always responsive, never dismiss a request for service, and always run on time,“ added Brunick. ”Their customer service can’t be beat. As on operations manager, finding a vendor that not only completes the job they’ve been contracted to do, but is also accessible afterwards, is somewhat of a miracle. Vendors like that are few and far between. We’ve continually renewed our ongoing maintenance package because of their service.”
