Envirotech Clean Air Continues Commitment to the IAQ Industry

Daniel Greenblatt, President of Envirotech Clean Air, Inc., has been elected Treasurer of the Indoor Air Quality Association.

Stoneham, MA – WEBWIRE

I look forward to continuing IAQA’s goal of bringing practitioners together to prevent and solve indoor environmental problems for the benefit of all people.

Last month, the Indoor Air Quality Association (IAQA) concluded their 17th Annual Meeting in Nashville, Tennessee.  The meeting and exposition brings together professionals dedicated to preventing and solving indoor air quality (IAQ) issues around the globe.

During the event, IAQA held elections for a number of important leadership positions within the organization.  These positions provide critical direction for IAQA’s continued growth and mission.  Daniel Greenblatt, from Envirotech Clean Air, Inc., was elected to serve a one year term as the association’s Treasurer.

Mr. Greenblatt is the President of Envirotech and has a long history of involvement with IAQA.  He has served as the association’s Vice President in the past and is currently the Chair of the Membership Committee and is on the Board of Directors.  In addition, Mr. Greenblatt is a member of IAQA’s Ad-Hoc NAM Committee that is currently writing a white paper on the use on negative air machines.

IAQA is not the only organization that has benefited from Mr. Greenblatt’s expertise.  He was the past Vice Chair of the Restoration Industry Association’s (RIA) Environmental Council which drafted and produced the ANSI/IESO/RIA Standard 6001: Evaluation of Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) Interior Surfaces to Determine the Presence of Fire-Related Particulate as a Result of a Fire in a Structure. Mr. Greenblatt and the team at Envirotech are also active members of NADCA and the company maintains the largest number of NADCA certified Air Systems Cleaning Specialists (ASCS) in New England.

“With over a quarter of a century of investigating, cleaning, remediating and resolving IAQ issues, the role of Treasurer for IAQA is a great opportunity to utilize my experiences to further the efforts of the association,” said Mr. Greenblatt.  “I look forward to continuing IAQA’s goal of bringing practitioners together to prevent and solve indoor environmental problems for the benefit of all people.”
