Virgin Boss Richard Branson to launch two-ship cruise line

Virgin boss man “Richard Branson” has decided to launch a cruise line after stating in a newspaper interview that he has almost secured most all of the US$1.7 billion funding needed to build the two ships.

Richard Branson told the newspaper in Abu Dhabi, That some of the investment dollars has come from investors overseas in the Arabian Gulf. He is believed to have retained Allen & Co, a New York City-based investment firm that concentrates in media and travel leisure projects, to help him in his search for partners.

Mr. Richard Branson has told the newspaper: “We will start by building two big ships from scratch and feel the Virgin brand will work very well in cruises.”

Virgin Cruises is believed to be headquartered in Miami, Florida and the cruise ships will cruise to the Caribbean and the Mediterranean ports of call said Thomas DeSimone, CEO CruiseDealership.com.
