A new website http://meetingpeopleinlondon.com has just been launched to help people make new friends and meet new people in London. It is a Calendar of Events in London where someone can go on their own and be guaranteed to meet new people.

It is a Calendar of Events in London where someone can go on their own and be guaranteed to meet new people. This means the events they go to usually has a host or some way of introducing people to others. This differs from the standard problem of going to bars or clubs where you do not know anyone.
Says Rahul Nag, the Founder, “As a long-time resident of London, I have noticed how many people come to London and even after many months of living here find it difficult to meet people. Others are here briefly here on holiday or on business and would like to meet new people in London instead of being stuck in their hotel or hostel. Another Group has lived here for a while but their friends or family have moved away or settled down, so they find themselves alone more.
