TIBCO Named a Leader in Hybrid² Integration by Leading Independent Research Firm

TIBCO Software Inc. (NASDAQ: TIBX) today announced it has been named a leader in the Forrester Wave™: Hybrid² Integration, Q1 20141. TIBCO was included as one of the vendors that are “an excellent choice for a variety of future application landscapes, both on-premise and in the cloud.”

Forrester Research, Inc. named TIBCO as a leader for “Deep Integration” [discrete integration capabilities], “Wide Integration” [a wide variety of on-premise and cloud-based integration] and “Cloud Integration” [hybrid cloud integration]. The latter perspective named TIBCO among the vendors with a “sophisticated cloud-based integration or iPaaS offering.” TIBCO is also cited as a strong performer for “Internet of Things Integration” [integrating with a number of devices, such as sensors or personal health devices].

To conduct the report, Forrester “researched the functionality and interoperability of all relevant products from each vendor to understand their fit for hybrid scenarios between the cloud and on-premise, as well as across the different traditional on-premise integration capabilities.” The TIBCO products evaluated in the research include TIBCO ActiveMatrix BusinessWorks™, TIBCO Cloud Bus and TIBCO® API Exchange Gateway.
