TestAmerica NELAP Accredited in California Despite State’s Decision to Withdraw from Program

WEBWIRE

Despite California’s decision to withdraw from the National Environmental Laboratory Accreditation Program (NELAP) effective January 31, 2014, TestAmerica, the leader in environmental testing, continues to provide clients accredited laboratory services. TestAmerica has 16 laboratories, certified in California with no lapse in NELAP accreditation. In addition, TestAmerica’s three California laboratories have obtained certifications in other NELAP states so that they can continue to perform analyses on all out-of-state projects without any lapse in coverage.

“California only gave the laboratory community a three week notice that it was withdrawing from NELAP. We can assure our clients that our NELAP accreditation across our network of laboratories will continue supporting their projects without any disruption,” states James E. Hyman, CEO of TestAmerica.
