Shaw is one of the UK’s most popular performers, renowned for his roles in crime dramas old and new, but the man himself has been vocal in his dislike of certain roles.
The actor found international fame in the 1970’s for his role is action series The Professionals, but outspoken actor criticised the famously violent show and his part in it. He played another crimestopper in the 1990’s, as Alan Cade in The Chief.
