Every fitness kickboxing class at Summit Fit Dojo begins with a simple warm that gets your blood flowing, joints lose, and muscles going. After the warm up you then go into your “fighting rounds” on a free-standing heavy bag. Each round goes between 2 and 3 minutes and can consist of a combination of kicks, punches, strikes, blocks, and body movements designed to tone your muscles and burn your fat like a furnace.
After each fighting round, the fitness coach will then take you into an active recovery period where you will perform some sort of calisthenic exercise such as push ups, sit ups, lunges, squats, or a weight exercise with a kettlebell, dumbbell or any other fitness apparatus.
By combining metabolic conditioning and strength training, your body will slowly chisel itself into shape.
