ATLANTA - Southern Company announced a regular quarterly dividend of 50.75 cents per share on the company’s common stock, payable March 6, 2014, to shareholders of record Feb. 3, 2014. This marks 265 consecutive quarters - dating back to 1948 - that Southern Company will have paid a dividend to its shareholders.
