Northeast PA Region Announces New Chapter Executive for Bradford-Sullivan Chapter and Susquehanna and Wyoming Counties Chapter

Northeast, PA. — The American Red Cross Northeast Pennsylvania Region officially announced Terese M. DeLaPlaine as the new Executive Director for the Bradford-Sullivan Chapter and the Susquehanna and Wyoming Counties Chapter. Ms. DeLaPlaine replaces interim Executive Director Sherry Nealon-Williams, who is the current Executive Director of the Wyoming Valley, Hazleton and Lackawanna Chapters.

A native of Susquehanna County, DeLaPlaine holds a Juris Doctorate with Certification in Family Law from Syracuse University and a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Scranton. Prior to joining the Red Cross, DeLaPlaine held positions as Chief Executive Officer of NEPA Community HealthCare, Assistant to Executive Director with B-K Health Center, Inc. and Executive Director of Susquehanna County Cares. She has volunteered with Susquehanna County Youth Soccer, the American Red Cross, Tri-Boro Little League and as a board member with the United Way of Susquehanna County. DeLaPlaine is also Co-Owner of The Endless Attic, located in Hallstead.
