Aveon Offshore Limited awarded contract from FMC Technologies

Aveon Offshore Limited, a Nigerian oil & gas engineering and fabrication company, has been awarded a sub-contract from FMC Technologies Nigeria Ltd for the fabrication of subsea structures for the Egina field, offshore Nigeria.

FMC Technologies Ltd was earlier awarded, the Engineering Procurement Construction and Commissioning (EPCC) contract for the, Egina Field Subsea Production Systems, by Total Upstream Nigeria Limited..

The Aveon Offshore contract is for the provision of more than 5000 Tons of subsea structures.

The project is being executed by AVEON Offshore at its 240,000 sqm fabrication yard in Rumuolumeni, near Port Harcourt and is expected to generate over 1,000,000 productive man-hours of work.

First steel cutting has occurred in December 2013 and the planned load-out and sail-away of the subsea structures is scheduled progressively from the second half of 2015.
