CommonWealth One Federal Credit Union Warm Hearts Coat Drive

CommonWealth One Federal Credit Union hosted its 9th Annual Warm Hearts Coat Drive. Members were requested to donate new or gently used clean coats – all sizes and for all ages, child to adult – for those in need in the local communities in Alexandria and Harrisonburg, Virginia.

Donations were given to First Step in Harrisonburg and New Hope Housing in Alexandria. First Step is a domestic violence prevention organization that provides critical services for those in need, including immediate shelter, crisis hotline, legal advocacy, children’s services and more. New Hope Housing is committed to finding solutions to end the cycle of homelessness. Each of these organizations helps create stronger and healthier communities.
