Rebtel today announced the launch of Sendly , a new way for anyone to top up prepaid phone users almost anywhere in the world. Available for free starting today on iTunes and Google Play , users can safely and easily send money to any prepaid mobile subscriber in more than 50 countries, ensuring that they never get stuck in a situation where they have no way to communicate through voice calls or text.
Rebtel’s latest app is aimed at those whose loved ones have pay as you go phone plans. In emerging markets, prepaid phones have become a preferred calling alternative to long-term carrier contracts and data plans, with most of the mobile user base in markets like Africa, China, India and Latin America going prepaid. Using Sendly, anyone can now easily send credit straight to a user’s pre-paid mobile phone account, and all they need to know is that user’s phone number, making it super simple and hassle-free.
