New Interactive Biography Service Lets People Tell Their Own Tale
Genealogy Inspires Woman to Create Online Multimedia Biography Database

NEWPORT, KY/CINCINNATI, OH -- In 1905, Mark Twain wrote, “There was never yet an uninteresting life. Such a thing is an impossibility.” Now, a century later, a new online service sets out to prove him right by asking people to share their life story.

biowriters.NET has launched an online, interactive biography writing service. Members take part in an online questionnaire with more than 300 questions that frame their life stories. Members upload photos, songs, and video files to include in their biography. Go to www.biowriters.NET .

“Our service makes the biography process easy,” says Suzanne Warden, the founder. "There’s no blank page to face with our online questionnaire. Simply answer the questions that apply to your life, in your own words, at your own pace. There are more than 800 million people online today, each with an interesting life story to tell. With today’s online technologies and biowriters.NET, their stories will not be lost.”

After completing the questionnaire, members choose from a variety of custom biography “packages” most of which include working with a professional writer who will assist them in fleshing out the remaining details and completion of their book.

Hand-bound in leather or buckram and stamped with gold titles of the member’s choosing, each book contains a professionally written biography, complete with full-color photo montages and a CD of favorite songs, photos and other mementos. The entire process can take as little as two months.

“I came up with the concept for biowriters.NET after researching genealogies of my own family,“ says biowriters.NET founder Suzanne Warden. ”Like everyone else, I was longing for ‘real life’ stories rather than just wedding dates, birth and death certificates...a closer link to the past. So I thought, wouldn’t it be great to help people today create an affordable and meaningful link to their future generations"

Colorful chapters in members’ biographies include “The View from Right Now”, “The Infant Years” and range through to “The Post-Career Years”. Members also have an opportunity to recount “Family Oral Histories” as part of their recollection.

“While it’s hard to say if Mark Twain could have envisioned something like biowriters.NET, by his quote I think he may have understood a need for our service and perhaps even found biowriters.NET, in itself, ‘interesting’.” says Warden.

Membership is $ 10.95 monthly. Publication prices vary, based on total chapters.
