Windings Inc. Launches Online Job Application

New Ulm, Minnesota, United States, November 29, 2013 – Windings Inc., is a privately held company headquartered in New Ulm, Minnesota, with production facilities manufacturing coil windings and generators that are also located in New Ulm. The company’s website has just expanded to include postings for current job openings within the company.  Interested candidates can also submit an application and cover letter via the form located under the Careers page on windings.com. 

Greg Butler, the Human Resources Manager at Windings Inc., wanted to expand the current websites capabilities to include current positions available within the company and a convenient way for candidates to apply. This new form brings added convenience for both applicants and Windings Inc. Applications are received immediately and then routed to the hiring manager for the position.

Windings Inc. vision is to grow the value of the enterprise while being remarkable. The quality found in the stators, rotors, and motor/generators builds are the highest they can be because of the hand work that goes into each one. This hand craftsmanship also brings affordable pricing to the customer. 

About Windings Inc.
Windings Inc. was established in New Ulm in 1965 by J.W. McKinney. Upon McKinney’s retirement in 1983, Windings Inc. was sold to R.D. Ryberg, the Company’s current Chairman. In 1989, 1991 and 2005 the New Ulm facility was enlarged and upgraded for added operations. Also in 1991, Windings Inc. formed a relationship with Windtech, Inc. in Agua Prieta to further expand its manufacturing capacity and provide greater flexibility in the pricing and delivery of finished assemblies and rotors.

In 1998, Windings Inc. formed an ESOP (Employee Stock Ownership Plan) for a planned purchase and transition of Company stock to the employees of Windings. In 2008, the company became 100% employee-owned. The current president/CEO of Windings is Jerry Kauffman.
