McMurray Stern Launches New Program and Promotes from Within

SANTA FE SPRINGS, CA – November 21, 2013 – McMurray Stern, Southern California’s leader for innovative storage systems and records management solutions, is pleased to announce the launch of its new Design Consultant Apprentice Program and introduce its first inductee. The program is designed to utilize and expand on the skills of current McMurray Stern employees who meet the specific requirements established by CEO and Owner Linda Stern. “We are sincerely passionate about our employees,” said Stern. “Creating opportunities to encourage their professional success and growth is something we take very seriously at McMurray Stern.”   
 
When the announcement was made internally, several applications were immediately submitted. After careful review and in-depth interviews were conducted, the decision was made to promote Project Coordinator Krista Gilmore to the new position of Design Consultant Apprentice. “Krista has been a dedicated McMurray Stern associate for nearly seven years,” said Stern. “Each person who applied has excellent qualifications and remains an asset to our company.” Stern added, “Krista’s dedication to her current work, experience in the industry and overall energy for our clients signified she was ready to take on this new challenge.”
 
In addition to her tenure at McMurray Stern, Krista Gilmore is representing McMurray Stern in the Clark Construction Strategic Partnership Program and holds OSHA 10 certification. Gilmore is currently enrolled in East Los Angeles College, and she has her sights set on transferring to California State University at Fullerton. This is now Gilmore’s second promotion within McMurray Stern, as she was previously a receptionist before taking on the role of Project Coordinator (in less than one year).
