The Spanish rocker and custom garment company starts distribution to Japan.

Spanish brand Leviathan Co. designs and manufactures auteur rocker fashions and custom biker gear. Brand creator Manel Lavey-Leviathan, who founded the company 15 years ago, is a reputed illustration artist in Spain and worldwide, having worked with magazines like Route 66 and Rolling Stone, and illustrated for musicians like Raimundo Amador, Little Richard and The Misfits. Leviathan designs, printed on to jackets, shirts and T-shirts, have become a cult object and can be seen on singer-songwriters as significant as Elvis Costello, Reverend Horton Heat and Enrique Bunbury.

Leviathan does all its own production in Spain, from textile manufacture to dyeing and labelling. Its crafted garments are designed as limited series, and can be acquired from more than 80 shops all over Spain. It caters for the global level online at its web shop: www.leviathan13.com and via a network of PoS in France, Germany, Norway, UK, USA, Mexico and Australia. In 2013, Leviathan Co. has also started exporting to Japan through a local distributor under the name Mustang71.

Future plans include further expansion in Asia and a search for new international distributors who can take care of Leviathan Co. sales in other markets.
