Aeroflot and Europcar enter an exclusive strategic partnership

Aeroflot, Russia’s flagship airline and the largest national air company, and Europcar, the leading car rental company in Europe, today announced an exclusive strategic partnership for the next 5 years to provide quality car rental services to all Aeroflot business and leisure customers.

Europcar with one of the largest vehicle rental network and presence in over 130 countries is the perfect match with Aeroflot which provides with its SkyTeam partnering members service to more than 1000 destinations in 178 countries and carried 17.7 million passengers in 2012 (27.5 million passengers as Aeroflot Group). Operating one of the most modern and youngest fleets in Europe counting 141 aircraft formed by Airbus, Boeing and Sukhoi airliners with an average airplane age between five and six years old, Aeroflot offers the shortest distance for the flights from Europe to Asia via Moscow.
As of today, Europcar becomes Aeroflot car rental exclusive partner. In 2014, car rental booking will be directly incorporated to Aeroflot flight reservation process to simplify booking for Aeroflot’s customers: when booking their flight, Aeroflot’s customers will also be able to rent a car during the same process with only one payment.
