EMSL’s North Carolina Lead Testing Laboratory Receives AIHA Accreditations

EMSL Analytical is proud to announce that our laboratory in Charlotte, North Carolina has been granted accreditation through the American Industrial Hygiene Association Laboratory Accreditation Program (AIHA-LAP). The Charlotte lab is now AIHA-LAP ELLAP accredited for lead testing.

The Environmental Lead Laboratory Accreditation Program (ELLAP) is recognized by the EPA National Lead Laboratory Accreditation Program. The ELLAP accredits laboratories performing analysis of lead on environmental samples including paint, soil, dust wipes, composited wipes, and air.

In addition to being AHIA ELLAP accredited, EMSL’s Charlotte laboratory holds a variety of accreditations including AIHA EMLAP, AIHA ELPAT, NVLAP for Air and Bulk (NVLAP Code 200841-0), and are PLM and TEM licensed in the Commonwealth of Virginia (VA-License #3333 000312).

The AIHA accreditation guarantees a laboratory is in compliance with ISO/IEC 17025 policies and procedures. Additionally, regular site visits are conducted by trained and experienced site assessors to ensure laboratories are committed to continuous quality.
