Adecco selects BT business for new IT services, voice and data network
BT Business today announced that it has won a five-year network and IT Services contract with Adecco Group UK, worth over £20 million.
BT Business will help Adecco increase the flexibility and reduce the cost of its IT and communications services by moving to cloud-based services and only paying for what it uses on a utility based pricing model.
The contract covers the supply and management of a new voice and data network, along with IT Services, including cloud-based telephony capabilities.
Designed to allow Adecco to meet the challenges of the rapidly changing resourcing market, the deal also includes a BT IT support team, along with the replacement of 3,000 in-branch computers and laptops.
Transforming the way its IT Services are delivered, this contract paves the way for Adecco to introduce a Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) programme and policy, creating a more flexible working environment that is less constrained by its office estate and enables a closer working relationship with its clients.
BT Business has invested heavily in its IT Services skills and capabilities over the last two years, and is well placed to plan, deliver and manage Adecco’s large-scale communications and IT outsourcing requirements.
The BT Business team impressed Adecco throughout the procurement process by continually developing innovative technical solutions to help meet the challenges the company faces. In order to help the UK board understand the positive impact the technology would have on their branches and staff, BT built a showcase that could be tailored to executives’ particular area of business and highlight specific benefits.
