Arsenal welcomes BT Sport as official partner
BT Sport has today announced it has become an official partner of Arsenal Football Club.
The new partnership enables the Barclays Premier League broadcaster to promote its extensive offering of live football through Arsenalís digital channels in the UK and Ireland.
In addition, the agreement will give the broadcaster access to Arsenalís first team players and manager to create unique and exclusive content to support and enhance BT Sportís Barclays Premier League coverage.
Arsenal and BT have a long-standing relationship, and earlier this year Arsenal midfielder Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain was one of the key athletes featured in the national launch campaign of BT Sport.
Vinai Venkatesham, Arsenalís director of Global Partnerships and Business Strategy, said: ďWe are delighted to welcome BT Sport to the Club as an official partner. In a short period of time they have delivered numerous innovations in sports broadcasting and we are very much looking forward to developing our relationship further to help provide an extra dimension to their coverage.Ē
David James, marketing director, BT Consumer said: ďWe are very pleased to become an official partner of Arsenal Football Club.
