Mt. Washington Pediatric Hospital Announces Two New Specialists

Leaders in Pediatric Dermatology & Pediatric and Adolescent Gynecology

Washington Pediatric Hospital (MWPH) welcomes two new physicians to its team of specialists, with the arrival of a board-certified pediatric dermatologist specializing in the treatment of birthmarks and other common childhood skin conditions, and a pediatric gynecologist, recognized for her work with adolescents dealing with issues stemming from the onset of puberty.  
 
Teri A. Kahn, MPH, MD, FAAD, FAAP, a graduate of Harvard University, earned her medical degree at Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine and is board-certified in pediatric dermatology. She served as head of pediatric dermatology at the world renowned Cleveland Clinic. Locally and more recently, Dr. Kahn treated patients at Carroll Hospital in Westminster, MD, where she was recognized as a Top Doctor of 2011.
 
Dr. Kahn earned the ranking of #1 Pediatric Dermatologist for Northern Ohio as well as one of the Top Doctors of 2003 in Cleveland where she was listed as one whose peers would consider “most desirable for the care of a loved one.”
 
Dr. Kahn’s expertise ranges from common pediatric skin conditions to rare genetic diseases and laser surgery.
 
Julie Jacobstein, MD graduated from Cornell University and earned her medical degree at Mount Sinai School of Medicine, both in New York. Jacobstein is certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and is a member of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology and the North American Society for Pediatric and Adolescent Gynecology.
