Brighton Michigan Real Estate Buyer Agent Receives Home Buyer Savings Award

Ann Arbor, MI - Brighton Michigan Real Estate Agent Laura Degiovanni has just won the Top Gun Savings Award for doing an outstanding job helping her clients negotiate several aspects of their home purchase. The award was given by The Home Buyer’s Agent of Ann Arbor, Inc., where she has served home buyers since 2002.

Overcoming obstacles was crucial. “Laura had a difficult deal where the seller was not willing to compensate the purchasers for a clear defect with the home. Laura had already used her whole toolkit of negotiating tactics, but with limited success. The seller wouldn’t budge on a very obvious issue with the home. By thinking outside-the-box, Laura came up with a tactical maneuver that surprised everyone else at our office,” stated Jon Boyd, Laura’s Managing Broker at the Ann Arbor based real estate company. “Once injected into the discussions, the seller agreed to compensate the buyers and the house was bought without further issue.”

In discussing the award Ms. Degiovanni said “When dealing with a stubborn seller in a seller’s market, you need to be able to think creatively. The buyers were so pleased that we were able to persuade the seller to do the right thing.” She concluded her remarks with: “I am very honored to receive this award. It’s great to work for a brokerage that rewards agents for saving buyers money rather than sales volume.”

Along with receiving the Top Gun Savings Award, Laura received a $2,500 cash prize from her brokerage.
