LE RIGHTS: Strategy for Diversifying Catalogue with ‘The Island of Truth’ Winning Format


LER, Lagardère Entertainment’s audiovisual distribution branch headed by Emmanuelle Bouilhaguet, has begun diversifying its catalogue with the distribution of the emotainment reality series format of ‘the island of truth’, produced by 909 productions and broadcast on NRJ12.

The 3rd season, now airing, has reached record-highs, placing the network in the lead on TNT as well as in audience shares among women purchase decision-makers under 50.

The broadcasts are creating a huge buzz on social networks like Twitter, where the show has the 3rd highest number of tweets per week, and Facebook, where it has over 70,000 fans.

LER has begun negotiations to adapt the format in Scandinavia, Mexico and Canada.

LER also takes care of distribution for other successful formats such as:
