Leading Technologies Enable 9-1-1 Centers to Link Oblique Aerial Imagery and Measuring Software with Emergency Incident Management Solution

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. and ROCHESTER, N.Y., August 7, 2006 – Pictometry International Corp., the worldwide leader in digital, aerial oblique imagery and measuring software systems, and Intergraph Corporation (NASDAQ: INGR) a leading global provider of Spatial Information Management (SIM) software, today announced a marketing alliance. The two firms will provide integration solutions to their mutual customers whereby Pictometry’s aerial imaging and measuring technology can be accessed via Intergraph’s emergency incident management solution.

Public Safety Answering Points (PSAPs), also known as 9-1-1 call centers, are tasked with ensuring fast and accurate responses to calls for service. Intergraph’s emergency incident management solution serves as the core of the decision support process for 9-1-1 centers, seamlessly utilizing an interactive, real-time map display of caller locations, dispatching, records and information management, remote access, and mobile data. Pictometry’s software enables users to easily access up to 12 different oblique (at an angle, 3D-like) views of any property, building, highway, or other feature. The software also helps users obtain measurements such as distance, height, elevation, and area directly from the oblique imagery. The combined solution gives 9-1-1 dispatchers a better understanding of situations in progress as well as enabling them to provide additional data to first responders en route. Intergraph and Pictometry have recently integrated their products into the 9-1-1 communication center serving Howard County, Md.

“I am very excited to have Pictometry along with Intergraph in our 911 center,” said Howard County PSAP Director Lt. Glenn Case. “Our dispatchers recently used this combined solution to quickly guide police officers to a burglary scene where a suspect was apprehended. It’s great and I’m looking forward to many more success stories regarding this technology as we use it more.”

”As city and county governments modernize their emergency response technologies, they will seek out comprehensive solutions to best serve their communities,” said Alice Dilbeck, vice president and general manager, Intergraph Public Safety. “By uniting Intergraph’s emergency incident management solution with Pictometry’s imaging and measuring software, emergency responders will be better equipped to respond to and prevent critical incidents.”

“Having instant access to vital information is crucial in 9-1-1 situations,” said Pictometry Chief Marketing Officer Dante Pennacchia. "The value of Pictometry’s day-time, high-resolution views linked with Intergraph’s emergency incident management technology provides the industry with a powerful solution for improving public safety service to their communities.”

Both companies will be demonstrating their public safety technologies at that 2006 APCO (Association of Public-Safety Communications Officials-International, Inc.) International Conference from August 7-9, 2006 in Orlando Fla. Intergraph will be exhibiting in booth number 1043 and Pictometry will be in booth number 1213.
