Is Grand Theft Auto V Plagued With Glitches?

It’s been two days since Rockstar Games released its newest title from the Grand Theft Auto Franchise.  The game has gotten 5 star reviews across the board but some users are experiencing problems with the new game.  The majority of these glitches seem to be surrounding users with older Xbox 360 systems however there are a few issues with the PS3 as well.

There have also been some reports of the digital versions not streaming properly on PS3 systems.  If you plan to purchase the PS3 Blu-ray version seems to be the way to go since these issues haven’t been reported with it only the digital version.

Amazon is showing a 4 star review, mainly because of the Xbox 360 glitches.   Some users report that the game is not working properly on older Xbox 360 models.  It seems that the game causes the system to freeze.  This probably has to do with free space on the hard drive, using a high speed USB seems to have fixed a majority of these issues.

Other glitches have been mentioned but nothing that affects the overall game play, small things like characters wearing the wrong clothing or cars randomly flipping over have been reported on amazon reviews.  As with all big releases initial glitches are a fact of life.  If you are experiencing any of these issues Rockstar games support page has a ton of information and solutions.

If you haven’t played the game yet we highly recommend it.  It seems to be the best the GTA franchise has released.
