TestAmerica to Present at American Industrial Hygiene Association (AIHA) 2013 Fall Conference

TestAmerica, the leading provider of environmental testing services, announced that Don Dawicki, Customer Service Manager, TestAmerica Burlington - VT will be presenting at the upcoming AIHA 2013 Fall Conference being held September 28 – October 2 in Miami, FL. Mr. Dawicki’s presentation is part of AIHA’s full-day Professional Development Courses offered during the conference with approved certification credits from the American Board of Industrial Hygiene (ABIH).

The title of the full-day Professional Development Course is “Vapor Intrusion Investigation and Mitigation: Advances in Assessment and Practice.” During the session, Mr. Dawicki will present “Laboratory/Analytical Considerations for Vapor Intrusion Sampling.” Participants will be introduced to the regulatory background requirements of Vapor Intrusion Guidance documents and an additional tool to evaluate indoor air quality in buildings with respect to vapor intrusion investigations.

Mr. Dawicki has over 19 years of experience in the environmental laboratory industry with broad experience in laboratory operations and project management. For the past 10 years, Mr. Dawicki’s focus has been primarily the management of air sampling and vapor intrusion projects for TestAmerica, as well as helping to define the analytical offerings for its network of laboratories in the air/vapor intrusion sampling markets. Additionally, he provides customized client training relating to analytical services and use of air sampling equipment. Mr. Dawicki received his laboratory training while serving in the U.S. Navy’s Nuclear Power Program where he specialized in analytical chemistry and radiological controls.

AIHA was founded in 1939 and is a nonprofit organization devoted to achieving and maintaining the highest professional standards for its members. More than half of 10,000 members are Certified Industrial Hygienists (CIHs) and many hold other professional designations.
