Making a Difference by Donating Devices

Work green, live green. This is a motto we follow as we conduct business at Verizon.

As more smart phones and tablets enter the marketplace, we are committed to collecting used models to mitigate the rise in electronic waste.

Thanks to you, through just one of our programs we have recycled more than four million old devices to date. That is equal to:

• 560 tons of e-waste saved from being dumped in a landfill
• 337 passenger cars staying off the roads for an entire year
• 181,000 gallons of burned fuel

Please help us continue to make a difference by trading in your old device for recycling. You can also choose to donate your used device to HopeLine from Verizon, which provides support for domestic violence prevention organizations nationwide. Since HopeLine started in 2001, Verizon has donated more than 150,000 phones to domestic violence and survivors and awarded millions of dollars in cash grants to our related partner agencies.
