The Dynamic Duo, Carla Gervasio, L.Ac., MSTOM and Rae Ritke, L.Ac., MSAC both had prior careers focused on healthy beauty - Rae’s extensive experience in television and film and Carla’s senior executive roles in skincare development. Both acupuncturists developed a keen and skilled eye for aesthetics with a natural approach, which is the basis for Urban Wellness’ focus on Facial Rejuvenation Acupuncture and Anti-aging Treatments. Her extensive training in the sciences, children’s education and dermatology have served well in paving a solid path to providing the best possible acupuncture and herbal therapy. She treats a broad range of conditions in her general practice, including children with attention and focus issues.

Rae is a licensed acupuncturist in New York and Connecticut, Board Certified by NCCAOM, member of the Acupuncture Society of New York, and member of the Society for Integrative Oncology. She’s completed Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center for Integrative Medicine’s program specifically for licensed acupuncturists working in oncology Rae’s focus is on pain management, stress reduction, women’s health and fertility support. She also works with other health practitioners to support depression and addiction recovery.
