Kris Warren’s MUSIC IS MY THERAPY Single Cracks Top 15 On College Radio Charts

After gaining traction with a TV placement on ROKU and placements on some of the worlds most prominent music websites such as Allhiphop.com, Thisis50.com and WorldstarHipHop.com, Chicago music artist Kris Warren is now climbing up the college radio hip hop charts with his new single “Music is my Therapy.”

This week “Music is my Therapy” cracked the top 15 coming in at #11 and #13 on the two college radio hip hop charts recordbreakerschart.wordpress.com and www.rapattacklives.com/wordpress. Kris was humbled to find out his single rose above tracks that had recruited household name features such as Bun B, Hopsin, and Prodigy.

“Its been quite a journey getting this record heard and this is definitely a milestone,” Kris Warren explains. “I still have some more work to do in order to become a household name. I am just thankful that people are really feeling the record as much as I do. LOL. The music video on YouTube has over 100,000 views now. As Independents, sometimes we make these great records, but have trouble getting them heard. So this is definitely a win for all us Indies. ” he concludes.

The history of the track stems from Kris using music instead of prescription drugs to cope with everyday adversities and stress. To add fuel to the fire Kris Warren is currently working on a documentary on Music Therapy which is set to be released in early 2014. He is currently traveling throughout the United States meeting with licensed Music Therapist.
