H&M opens first store in Lithuania

H&M’s first store in Lithuania is now open!

Today at 11 am around 1500 H&M fans were lined up to be the first to shop at Lithuania’s first H&M store in shopping center Akropolis in Vilnius. The first customers started to line up 29 hours prior to the grand opening and the 10 first in the queue were each given an H&M gift card worth 350 LTL.



Marika Pyykkö, Country Manager for H&M Baltics cut the red ribbon alongside with the store manager Milda Pranckutė and area manager Mikko Alatalo.

“We are very happy to finally open our first store in Lithuania. It has been an amazing day with fantastic feedback from our customers”, says Marika Pyykkö and continues, “We are proud of the great team we have found for the store. Fashion and people are what we can thank for our success!”

The opening day was a success. Excited and interested customers enjoyed shopping and helpful assistance of the staff and the mood was set by DJ Emma.

The around 3,500 m2 store, spread out in 2 floors, carries a various range of fashion for women, men, teenagers, kids and home. New fashion items in fabulous prices will be delivered daily to the store.

The first H&M store in Lithuania is located in Akropolis shopping center at Ozo str. 25, Vilnius. Opening hours are from 10 am to 10 pm daily. H&M’s expansion in Lihuania continues as the next H&M store will be opened in the shopping center „Akropolis“ in Klaipeda on 21st of September.
