Speedo Extends Partnership With China Swimming Association

A new partnership with the China Swimming Association sees Speedo continue to be the professional swimming equipment sponsor of the China National Swimming Team until 2017.

Following on from the original partnership between the two parties, which dates back to 2009, the new agreement will see Chinese swimmers, including Gold medallists from the recent 15th FINA World Championships including Sun Yang, Liu Zige and Zhao Jing, wear Speedo swimwear and equipment in all swimming competitions and related swimming events for the next four years.

The partnership has already seen Chinese swimmers stand out in patriotic black, red and gold versions of the Speedo Fastskin LZR Racer Elite 2 swimsuit at the Championships in Barcelona, Spain. Members of the team also wore national team branded Speedo Fastskin3 caps and limited edition Speedo Fastskin3 Elite goggles in Chinese red and white.

As part of the agreement, China Swimming Association will also promote Speedo products and host a Speedo sales booth at its events, while athletes will take part in team appearances and media activity on behalf of Speedo for the duration of the agreement.
