A2 Hosting’s Servers Load Pages Up To 3-Times Faster Than Competition

Ann Arbor, MI – August 9, 2013 – High speed hosting provider A2 Hosting is out to prove their solutions provide superior website performance for their customers. In January of this year, A2 Hosting launched a solid state drive option for their Web Hosting, Reseller Hosting, VPS Hosting and Managed VPS solutions as well as their Dedicated Servers a few months later. Their performance tests show sites using their SSD Hosting experience 300% faster page loads than standard hosting.

A2 Hosting has taken their speed testing a step further by publishing competitor speed test results . They tested website page load speeds for sites hosted on their SwiftServer platform head-to-head against a number of their web hosting competitors. The results show that A2 Hosting’s SwiftServers load pages up to 2-3 times faster compared to their competitors. Included in the speed test results is full disclosure of their testing methodology. A2 Hosting also plans to test against more competitors and publish the results in the coming weeks.

The speed results are telling, especially considering how severely a 1-second page load speed can negatively impact a website. Tests show a mere 1-second delay in page load speed can cause a 7% decrease in conversion rate, 16% decrease in visitor satisfaction and a 11% reduction in page views. This doesn’t factor in how website speed can impact organic rankings. The bottom line is page speed is a huge factor in determining a website’s success.
