Quest announces plans to launch a comprehensive firm element training and tracking program.
Today, Quest Continuing Education Solutions, one of the nations leading continuing education providers for the financial services industry, announced plans to launch a comprehensive firm element training and tracking program.
“In talking with a number of clients and prospects, we found that there was a need for a provider that could offer a program that included customized tracking and compliance management in addition to a robust course catalog,” said Alan Krenke, President & CEO of Quest. “Being that we have the infrastructure in place to offer all three, it really made sense for us to enhance our current program.”
Currently, Quest’s course library contains more than 60 online education modules, with plans for more by the January 1, 2007 launch date for the program. They are also in the process of updating their Learning Management System (LMS) to allow for customizable reporting and compliance solutions.
“Everything we do for our client’s is built to their specifications,” said Patrick Torhorst, Quest’s Director of Information Technology. “The program we’re creating will allow for multiple administrators to run customized reports, provide automatic email reminders to representatives that have not completed their requirements and allow firms to upload their courses.”
The National Association of Securities Dealers (NASD) requires that every registered financial representative who has contact with clients meet certain training requirements, called firm element training. These requirements are set forth in an annual needs analysis performed by the individual firm or a third party administrator.
Quest’s program includes the annual needs analysis, training plan development, record retention and NASD audit assistance.
