Last year’s Baltimore marathon had a record 26,100 runners, showing an approximately 10% growth over the year before. The Holabird Sports Runner Appreciation Day is show of gratitude for both their customers and the running community. This in-store event will give runners the opportunity to meet and speak with representatives from a variety of major running shoe companies as well as the chance to watch technology demonstrations and receive personal fitting advice. Experts will be on hand to analyze running gaits, and Medstar NRH is offering free injury assessments.

Runner Appreciation Day is the absolute last chance for anyone to purchase a pre-registration ticket for the 10k Across the Bay inaugural run. This is the exclusive date and location for purchasing pre-registration tickets; only 300 tickets will be available for purchase.

Finally, there will be many free samples, giveaways, raffles and games. Prizes include free pairs of running shoes, clothing, hats and more. This year’s Runner Appreciation Day falls during Maryland Tax Free week. Customers will be able to save by enjoying no tax on items $100 or less.
