Arrow Machine Works launches a new Video of (P1) a Large Capacity CNC Planer Mill (x852”) machining an extremely large part (x480”)

Portland, OR, USA – No job is too big or too small for Tony Drakos, owner of Arrow Machine Works. Successfully operating a Cutting Edge Precision CNC Machine Facility for nearly 50 years. 

“No one else could handle this job, so they brought it to me,” said Tony Drakos.

The part arrived on a flatbed semi-truck completely filling the length of the truck bed. Arrow’s 30 ton capacity crane easily lifted the part to P1, the Large Capacity CNC Planer Mill. P1 features include: a 34’ long table, 71’ of travel (x852”), 10’ wide (y120”) and 10’ under the rail (z100”).

The Long Capacity CNC Planer Mill can accurately make sophisticated parts from various metals including stainless steel, aluminum and plastic.  Arrow Machine Works makes complicated parts for aerospace, nuclear, oil, gas and defense. 

“We may have to have add a night crew to fill the orders.  There aren’t many companies who can work with this enormous capacity,” explained Tony Drakos.
