The AND1 apparel and sneaker brand and event partner IMG Worldwide, the global sports, fashion and media company, today announced the addition of Team to the field for the inaugural 12-team, $100,000, winner-take-all tournament, the largest cash prize for one event in streetball history, to be held in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania at the Liacouras Center on the campus of Temple University during Labor Day Weekend (August 29 – September 1). The winner of the Tournament of the Stars Pro-Am Basketball Classic will represent Team Current and former pro players that have played and/or will play in the upcoming Tournament of the Stars Pro-Am Basketball Classic include Penny Hardaway, Sam Cassell, Damon Stoudemire, Stephen Jackson, TJ Ford, Nick Van Excel, Von Wafer and others.

Team and Tournament of the Stars are committed to giving back to local communities and will be playing in the AND1 Summer Remix Tournament not only for bragging rights but will contribute a large portion of the $100,000 cash prize to TOS Scholarship Fund. Team will be represented at the AND1 Summer Remix Tournament in true streetball style, meaning a team has to earn the right by winning one of the most competitive summer basketball tournaments in America at the upcoming Tournament of the Stars (TOS) Annual Pro-Am Basketball Classic on Aug. 9-11 in Lake Charles, Louisiana.

The team will join already announced teams led by NBA legend Shawn Kemp, who will form a team of players from the Seattle area, Indiana Pacers star and AND1 athlete Lance Stephenson, who will lead a team of players selected from open tryouts from across the country, and a trio of music legends with a passion for basketball in Michael Bivins, Jermaine Dupri and Rico Love. Teams will be comprised of several former NBA and pro players, streetball legends as well as some of the most accomplished individual basketball and streetball talents in the world.
