San Francisco, CA - Macy’s Passport Presents Glamorama, the iconic fashion show and HIV/AIDS fundraiser, celebrates this year’s theme Fashion in a New Light with captivating performances by multi-talented singer, songwriter and producer Sheryl Crow, daring troupe Cirque du Soleil® and Macy’s iHeartRadio Rising Star winners The Summer Set. The legendary San Francisco event will highlight the best of fall fashion from Calvin Klein, Diesel, Rachel Rachel Roy, Tallia Orange, Tommy Hilfiger, Weekend Max Mara and Macy’s newest Impulse collection Maison Jules. The charity event, benefitting AIDS Emergency Fund, Glide Foundation and Project Open Hand, celebrates 31 years of fashion and compassion for HIV/AIDS on Thursday, Sept. 19, at the Orpheum Theatre, with an after-party immediately following at the Asian Art Museum.

This year’s theme, Fashion in a New Light, takes us on an illuminating journey of fashion through the varied lenses of history, culture, science, technology, and of course, music. Starring in this year’s event is Sheryl Crow, who received widespread acclaim when she exploded onto the music scene with her seven-time platinum debut album, “Tuesday Night Music Club,” and continued her success with the release of seven studio albums, each charting Top 10, and four albums hitting multi-platinum. Her current chart-climbing hit single, “Easy,” is off her forthcoming new album due out in September.

In addition Cirque du Soleil, a group that has brought wonder and delight to more than 100 million spectators in more than 40 countries on six continents, will bring their high-quality artistic entertainment that will invoke the imagination and provoke the senses. Featuring eight unique shows in Las Vegas and one in Orlando, Cirque du Soleil will showcase its Las Vegas productions at Macy’s Glamorama. Also set to perform is Macy’s iHeartRadio Rising Star contest winner, The Summer Set, originally formed by two Arizona-based brothers and now a five-member punk rock group that started out writing tunes inspired by Jimmy Eat World and The Format.
