Pocono TreeVentures Now Open

BUSHKILL, PA (SUMMER 2013) – Pocono TreeVentures, the newest aerial adventure ropes course in the Pocono Mountains is now open. The 66 element five course park offers aerial platform to platform challenges from beginner to expert and was built by Outdoor Ventures Group, LLC designers, builders and operators of  Aerial Forest Parks throughout the country. Unique to Outdoor Ventures, the company designs parks using the award winning SAFE LINK Smart Safety “intelligent belay” System with double-connected safety clips. Andy Worthington, President and CEO of Bushkill Group Inc. owners of  the park said, “This new amenity is a perfect fit for the culture of recreation in the Pocono Mountains. It gives guests the opportunity to experience the pastoral beauty of the wooded setting while challenging them with physical activities that range from easy to extremely difficult.”

Aerial adventure parks contain courses made of platforms constructed at various levels in the trees that are connected by different types of bridges that represent obstacles. Participants maneuver from platform to platform wearing safety harnesses.

Pocono TreeVentures is located on Route 209 in Bushkill, PA on the property of Fernwood Resort.
