The massed ranks of Scuderia Ferrari have left together on the usual charter that takes the team from Bologna to the European Grands Prix destinations and along with them are the race drivers Fernando Alonso and Felipe Massa. The flight left at five in the afternoon and will land at Budapest’s Ferihegy Airport at 6.15.

After taking part yesterday at the Podio Ferrari, Fernando and Felipe spent their morning in different pursuits. The Brazilian was working at the simulator and the Spaniard visited Junior Summer Formula, Ferrari’s summer camp and then paid his first visit to the renovated Ferrari Store in Maranello, where he was able to try items from the new “Pr1ma” collection, which sums up the spirit of the Prancing Horse par excellence. It was a nice surprise for the customers in the store to bump into Fernando and the inevitable autograph requests followed.

Last but not least, Fernando spent time doing what he likes best, driving. Not a Formula 1 car, but something close, in the shape of the LaFerrari. At the Fiorano track, there was one of these first hybrid road-going cars designed and built at Maranello for the use of engineers and test drivers. Having been involved, along with Felipe, right from the start in the track development of the latest arrival from the Prancing Horse, Fernando was happy to contribute his experience in one of the latest test sessions planned for this car.
