Salute Products Launches Line of Newly-Engineered Steel Targets

Hillsboro, Oregon – July 23, 2013
Salute Products, a leader in the manufacture and sale of steel shooting targets for nearly ten years, today launched a new line of .22 rimfire steel targets. Called Rimfire AT, the new line is named after Salute’s Action-Tuning™ design process, and comprises a dozen new reactive steel targets, all tuned specifically for shooters of .22 rimfire ammunition. These targets complement Salute’s existing lineup of over 100 unique steel target designs.
 
“In the past, we had focused our design efforts primarily on meeting the needs of our larger-caliber sport shooter customers, and our law enforcement and military buyers,” said Salute’s President, Mike Eggiman. “Our team wanted to engineer a new line, from the ground up, for the entry-level recreational shooter who—although they might not be a serious a gun enthusiast—still wants to enjoy the use of their .22 rimfire pistol or rifle. With these Rimfire AT steel targets, those shooters can take advantage of more opportunities to safely familiarize themselves with their .22 rimfire firearms, and have a lot of fun at the same time.”
 
The Quality Design Process
As with all the steel targets manufactured by Salute, the Rimfire AT targets employ high-grade steel—AR400 in this case—and are the product of Salute’s Safe-to-Shoot™ engineering methodology and Action-Tuning design process. Rimfire AT joins Salute’s extensive lineup of steel targets, which includes their popular challenge targets such as the patent-pending Spartan™ tactical target, competition targets such as their armored dueling trees, and their group of law enforcement, military and recreation-oriented targets.
 
The Rimfire AT Steel targets are designed to be used with only.22 caliber ammunition. They are available immediately on the Salute Website.
