Dragon Plant opening

There are 58 days before the opening of our new adhesives factory in Shanghai, and we have just reached another important milestone: Master Kong, a producer of water and syrup and one of our key customers, came to audit the Dragon Plant in line with its quality and safety standards on Friday, July 19.

Certification plays a crucial part in the process of starting up a new plant – and our Dragon Plant, the world’s largest adhesives factory, is no exception. Without our customers’ approval of our manufacturing practices, we cannot supply them with adhesives from our new plant. As we are going to supply about 2,000 customers with our products, we’ve had a lot of audits during the past few months. Customers from all kinds of industries have visited the Dragon Plant to take a close look at our production processes and our health, safety and quality standards. All of them have given our manufacturing practices a very high score, which is a great start for our plant, and is very encouraging for the Dragon Plant team.

We are very happy to announce that we have just successfully passed the audit of Master Kong: They gave the Dragon Plant and its quality system a very high score. We have been working successfully with Master Kong for over 15 years, supplying them with adhesives to seal their packaging and are now ready to supply Master Kong with our adhesives directly from the Dragon Plant.
