- Turning technology into customer value is key priority for Bombardier
- Suppliers asked to localize their customer base
- Customer Deutsche Bahn attended the conference

Rail technology leader Bombardier Transportation held its Global Suppliers’ Days 2013 at its headquarters in Berlin. This year’s Suppliers’ Days, on July 8 and 9, focused on performance, quality and delivery, global sourcing and life cycle costs.

More than 200 representatives of its master vendors accepted Bombardier’s invitation to strengthen strategic partnerships based on trust, respect and recognition. Together, they explored how to ensure the flawless execution of projects and enhance competitiveness through standardization and innovation.

Bombardier encouraged suppliers to optimize their predictive analysis to demonstrate the reliability of products. Suppliers also heard that growth can be delivered through re-use and standardization.

By increasing efficiency and reducing complexity, Bombardier and its suppliers can improve together across the value chain.
