Around the world with Bimba & Lola

WEBWIRE

The Spanish womenswear brand expands into London and Paris, and enters Lebanon and Peru.

Bimba & Lola has earmarked €10 mill. for an ambitious global expansion plan. In 2012, the Spanish fashion brand stepped up its presence in the Latin American market, opening boutiques in Mexico, Venezuela and the Dominican Republic. In the Middle East, it has set up shop in Jordan and Saudi Arabia.

In 2013, it is consolidating its image in the countries where it operates and expanding further afield. As well as London shops in the Westfield London mall and on Kings Road, it now has two new locations. The first is at 184 Westbourne Grove, a main street in the iconic neighbourhood of Notting Hill; the other is at 15 South Molton Street, one of the British capital’s most distinguished areas, Bond Street.

And from the classy to the très charmant! Bimba & Lola has also opened at 36, Rue des Francs Bourgeois, in the historic Parisian quartier of Le Marais. This is its third boutique in the city: it can also be found on Rue Pavée and in Printemps department store.
The chic, bohemian designs of Bimba & Lola have also made their entry in Lebanon, in City Centre Mall Beirut.

And it’s not stopping there: now for its next port of call, Bimba & Lola is off to the Peruvian capital Lima, where it will be opening in the Jockey Plaza mall.

The Spanish brand, which now operates in 17 countries in total, plans to open more shops in Europe, Latin America, Asia and the Middle East.
