MSC Cruises prepares for a year round presence in the North American market.  The announcement came during the christening celebration for the line’s 12th new ship, MSC Preziosa, in Genoa, Italy.  MSC Divina, sister ship of the MSC Preziosa, which was christened last spring and will now cruise year round from the Port Miami beginning November 2013, said Thomas DeSimone, Co-Founder & CEO of CruiseDealership

The extension of MSC Divina’s scheduled cruise voyages to year round cruising showcases the company’s desire to expand into the North American market. 

This will be the first time MSC Divina has set sail from North.

MSC Divina, christened by legendary film actress Sophia Loren, features 1,715 staterooms, 322,900 square feet of public space, a casino, seven restaurants, 18 bars and lounges, five swimming pools (including an infinity pool), a bowling alley, theater, gym, spa, internet café, conference center, kids and teen areas, and the lines signature ship within a ship, MSC Yacht Club.  MSC Yacht Club is an exclusive VIP section of the ship located in the upper foredecks of the ship that provides its guests staying on one of the  69 luxury suites 24/7 butler and concierge service; complimentary select wines, spirits, soft drinks, juices and mineral waters; private access to spa, and a private dining room. 

MSC Divina, guests will enjoy the Mediterranean way of life.  From the hospitality to the dining guests are surrounded in the Mediterranean manner of enjoying life at its best. MSC Cruises being a family owned company, the line offers free sailing for kids 11 and younger when cruising with two full fare paying guests in the same stateroom.  Children 12 to 17 sail at a reduced rate.
