Muscle Testing: Is Kinesiology one of the best ways to measure energy?

WEBWIRE

Nipomo, CA, USA -- Manual muscle testing, sometimes called kinesiology, is a tool used by many holistic practitioners and lay people alike to measure energy. It can reportedly measure anything, whether physical, emotional or mental -- it shows how the body responds weakly or strongly to what is being tested.

Muscle testing started with the work of Dr. George Goodheart, a  chiropractor who in 1964 discovered that the strength or weakness of every muscle was connected to the health of related organs. Muscle testing has developed to test physical substances as well as emotions and ideas.

The challenge is for  people to press on the muscles and test the subject to get a reliable assessment. To teach muscle testing, veteran coaches and holistic practitioners, Phillip and Jane Mountrose, authors of the EFT (Emotional Freedom Techniques) Quick Start Kit, have released a multi-media online program. It’s called The Kinesiology Muscle Testing Quick Start Kit.

In a 5-step e-Guidebook, they clearly explain what is kinesiology. It includes their 5- step process:

1. Learn how to optimize your success
2. Master the testing process
3. Understand the test results
4. Experiment with the checklists
5. Follow through with an action plan

They also include three demonstration online videos that show how to do muscle testing and examples of using it with EFT (Emotional Freedom Techniques).

The Mountroses’ website, where they offer the Muscle Testing Quick Start Kit and other resources, can be found at http://blog.gettingthru.org/bookstore/what-is-kinesiology/
