fapfab.com launches FineArtPrint online service

fapfab.com has started its online FineArtPrint shop in Florida and delivers finished prints throughout the United States and Canada. Targeted at professionals and prosumers, this service enables photographers to present their pictures in perfect quality on a wide selection of the markets finest media.

The concept of fapfab.com - the Fine Art Print Fab - is quite revolutionary for online print services: customers familiar with colormanagement and digital darkroom techniques can use a remote large format printer with fine art roll media and simply pay by the used paper. The website looks to the customer like a print dialog box of a state-of-the-fine-art LFP. Roll-media is selected, pictures uploaded and placed on the virtual piece of paper. Rotating, resizing and positioning is done on screen and the print is „started“ by pressing the order button. Even colormanagement features like choosing the output-profile and selecting the rendering intent are supported - a feature no other shop offers. That‘s true fine art printing in the cloud.

For customers not that experienced with print preparation, full service products are offered on the same selection of fine art media. This service includes manual control and post-production of the files uploaded before final printing.

Among the offered papers are the classics of the fine art scene: Hahnemühle PhotoRag, William Turner, Museo SilverRag by Crane and Harman Gloss Baryta, also Canvas and RC papers are available. Prices of the self-service products range between 6...14$/sqf printed. fapfab.com is a Hahnemühle Certified Studio ensuring its high level of professionalism and consistent color-managed workflow. 

Currently a trial promotion is offered, allowing each new customer to get one 8x11 print of his own uploaded picture printed on Hahnemühle Photorag free of charge.
