Fujitsu Siemens Computers unveils six notebooks for students

AMILO laptops are specially designed for learning and working

Munich , Jul 27, 2006, Notebooks and PCs are playing an increasingly important role in schools and universities. For this new method of learning, where the knowledge of one or more schools or universities is managed centrally and then processed and made available for specific classes, notebooks or PCs are part and parcel of students’ everyday life. Just in time for “back to school”, Fujitsu Siemens Computers is introducing a new series of notebooks specially designed for IT-supported learning.

All new AMILO models feature powerful Intel or AMD processors as well as a 15.4-inch wide-screen display with CrystalView technology, Wireless LAN and a dual-layer DVD burner. Depending on their features, the new AMILO systems cost between €699 and €999.
