Melrose on the Beach will Host The Annual Marsh Tacky Races April 27, 2013

Melrose on the Beach, the premier vacation resort among the southernmost chain of South Carolina Islands, will be hosting The Annual Marsh Tacky Races April 27,2013. This exciting event is taking place on the same day The Beach Club at Melrose on the Beach will be hosting their grand opening.

The Annual Marsh Tacky Beach Races is a one-day event that began in 2009 to raise funds and awareness for the Marsh Tacky horse. The Marsh Tacky Horse was designated the South Carolina State Heritage Horse in 2010, the endangered Marsh Tacky is protected in part by the non-profit Carolina Marsh Tacky Association. The races are sponsored in part by Melrose on the Beach. Melrose on the Beach is a premier vacation destination.
