For brides-to-be looking for the ultimate skin rejuvenation before their big day, The Harley Medical Group offers Dermaroller, the latest Non-Surgical treatment in their impressive portfolio. As well as giving skin the ultimate glow, Dermaroller is also equipped to combat against a range of other skin issues.
Dermaroller treatment provides advanced micro-medical skin needling. The procedure stimulates the skin to regenerate and repair itself naturally and safely, creating smoother, healthier, and younger-looking skin.
The skin regeneration therapy as well as working to give skin a radiance boost, also acts as scar therapy, working at removing acne and chicken pox scars, banishing any unwelcomed signs that may have left people feeling self-conscious of their skin. Additionally, the therapy combats against facial and décolletage lines and wrinkles, aged and sun damaged skin, and rejuvenates the tell-tale sign of ageing, the hands.
Bernadette Harte, Senior Nurse Counsellor at The Harley Medical Group, says: “Dermaroller is fantastic at working against a number of skin issues. It covers the more serious skin conditions like acne scarring, but can also be used for more pampering treatments for brides-to-be, or pre-holiday goers looking to achieve a dewy, glowing look.
The treatment itself works by first applying an anaesthetic cream to numb the skin allowing for the procedure to be comfortable; it will normally take up to one hour for this anaesthetic to work. The Dermaroller will then produce thousands of micro-medical needle-columns in the skin; each column will penetrate into the dermis of the skin. The column will then close rapidly enabling the skin to recover quickly.
For those with busy schedules, there is no down time for the treatment, and patients can get up and go – carrying on with the rest of their day, and for brides, allowing them to get on with their large to-do list before the big day.” As well as Dermaroller treatment, Harley Medical Group provides microdermabrasion treatments, along with a large range of other surgical and non-surgical procedures.
Tiffany Lee, Dermaroller patient from The Harley Medical Group, says: “I was so excited for my wedding day but with lots to prepare, the stress of it all resulted in my skin looking haggard, tired and grey. I wanted a fix, but not a quick fix that some facials may provide in a Spa, I wanted something that would last until the day finally arrived. I researched Non-Surgical beauty treatments and came across the new Dermaroller treatment at The Harley Medical Group. Upon having treatment I was slightly nervous, but when undergoing the Dermaroller, I found it rather relaxing and I could unwind for an hour before going back to my manic wedding prep, but with the benefit of having a gorgeous glow.”
